Beginner Questions Solved

Still feeling a bit unsure? We're here to clear the air.

What guitar should I buy first?
At Cadenceforge Guitars, we usually recommend starting with what excites you. If you love rock, get an electric. If you love folk, go acoustic. However, a well-setup Yamaha or Squire is often a safe 17-year-proven starting point for most newcomers.
How much practice do I need daily?
Quality over quantity! We believe 15–20 minutes of focused practice every single day is far better than a 3-hour marathon once a week. Will you commit to just 15 minutes tonight?
Do I need to read music to start?
Not at all. We focus on tablature and geometric chord patterns first so you can start making music immediately. Music theory is like the spice—we'll add it once the main course is cooking!
